This class is specifically designed for 3 yr olds who are showing a keen interest in music and movement. The classes last for ½ hour and are taught by the Principal – Miss Rhonda Binnie CSTD at Sumner Park and Stanthorpe. Children spend around 20 minutes doing stretching, musicality and rhythm games and learning a short dance routine, then they invite Mum and/or Dad to come into the class room and watch the dance for that lesson – a little bit like a mini-concert at the end of each class. Each lesson is a separate unit, so if you miss out on one class, it doesn’t matter too much and you won’t fall behind. The Teacher tries to utilise costumes and props, from our existing studio wardrobe when appropriate, as young children just love the chance to dress up and play with the props while learning the basics to jazz, tap and ballet dancing and also a little bit of singing. Students may wear whatever they like as long as they feel comfortable to move around and have lots of fun. Class numbers are strictly limited to ensure close attention.
